People Development Intern (Jun 2026)

Support talent growth initiatives through research, program management, and collaboration at Rocket, a leading Detroit-based digital solutions company.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support people development managers in research, data collection, and analysis to help drive talent solutions
• Assist in tracking program milestones and maintaining comprehensive development plans
• Help prepare training documentation, presentations, and status reports for various stakeholders
• Participate in identifying success metrics and qualitative success criteria for development programs
• Learn to maintain program documentation and resources in a rapidly changing work environment
• Support communication efforts between team members and stakeholders
• Shadow people development professionals to understand how talent initiatives impact business outcomes

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Preferred: Completion of coursework in human resources, talent development, or organizational behavior
• Preferred: Previous internship or work experience in a people-focused setting
• Preferred: Experience with basic data analysis or research projects
• Preferred: Interest in learning about talent development methodologies
