Payments Analyst- Entry Level (Start ASAP)

Join Medpace as a Site Payment Analyst to support Investigator Grant payments, revenue recognition, and budgeting in a growing clinical operations team.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Investigator Grant (IG) cost estimates and budgets for Phase I-IV clinical research projects from Request for Proposal (RFP) through project completion
• Coordinate the calculation of periodic payments to investigators
• Assist with monthly/quarterly IG project evaluation, including estimating, analyzing, and forecasting IG revenue and expenses to support company revenue recognition
• Prepare and analyze various KPI reports for trends and escalate noted items for resolution
• Work cross-functionally with multiple departments at Medpace to fulfill internal and external requests

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Ability to understand and analyze complex relationships between numerous, dynamic data points and their impact on revenue recognition processes
• Strong presentation skills to clearly communicate complicated topics to diverse audiences both orally and in writing
• Intrinsic motivation with strong attention to detail
• Critical thinking skills to make decisions or propose actions despite incomplete information
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and independently complete high-quality work
• Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent computer skills
