Support Morgan Stanley’s Operations Division in process improvement, client service, and risk management during a 10-week summer analyst program.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating across various Operations teams to evaluate and reengineer processes for greater operational efficiency.
  • Obtaining a broad understanding of Operations and its departmental interdependencies.
  • Presenting to senior management.
  • Partnering with different business units to deliver exceptional service in trade capture, clearance and settlement, account opening, cash management, billing, tax reporting, and fraud monitoring.
  • Partnering with Technology to design, manage, and implement business process changes to streamline processes, improve productivity, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Effectively identifying and mitigating operational risk while ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective client relationships to deliver world-class operational services.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree and graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills, able to handle multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to streamline processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done.
  • Proactive, motivated, with poise and self-confidence.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Expected base pay rate of $25.49 per hour at commencement of employment.
  • Total compensation package may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
