Experience a 10-week summer internship at TIAA, offering hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to multiple business divisions.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Support high-impact business initiatives by contributing to meaningful projects aligned with business objectives and client outcomes
  • Coordinate project materials and meetings to ensure seamless information flow across teams
  • Conduct independent research to gather market intelligence, competitive analysis, and supporting documentation
  • Engage in professional development through executive speaker series, training programs, and networking events
  • Work alongside professionals across departments to explore diverse career pathways and gain hands-on experience
  • Build industry expertise and deepen knowledge of TIAA’s culture, values, and financial services position
  • Choose a specific track: Analyst (focus on analysis, reporting, Info Security, financial oversight, portfolio management, process management, data analysis) or Engineer (operations support, data integrity, quality processes, automation modernization, technical issue resolution, deployment)

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Business Management, Economics.
  • Expected graduation between December 2025–June 2028 (depending on track)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ownership, accountability, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Up-to-date with technology trends and basic understanding of asset management industry
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet strict timelines
  • Desire for continuous learning and professional development
  • Willingness to embrace change and collaborate for team success
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Advanced Excel, Jira, Archer, MS tool Suite, Robotics, Machine Learning, SAS, R, or Matlab and statistics
