New Graduate PRA Engineer role at ENERCON involves developing risk assessment models and supporting nuclear safety projects.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and upgrading Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) models
- Supporting hazard assessments and engineering change evaluations
- Working with advanced risk-informed applications such as SFCP, RICT, 10 CFR 50.69, and SAMA
- Collaborating with senior engineers for field data collection
- Learning and applying codes and standards for project design
- Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Adapting to new software systems and using available resources
- Conducting walkdowns and navigating client sites, including climbing stairs and ladders
About You
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
- Graduating May-June 2026 preferred, available to start between May and August 2026
- Solid foundation in core concepts of your major
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and work outside
- Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings
- Completion of pre-interview assessments and submission of college transcript if under 1 year post-graduation
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, experience, location, and skills
