New Graduate PRA Engineer role at ENERCON involves developing risk assessment models and supporting nuclear safety projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and upgrading Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) models
  • Supporting hazard assessments and engineering change evaluations
  • Working with advanced risk-informed applications such as SFCP, RICT, 10 CFR 50.69, and SAMA
  • Collaborating with senior engineers for field data collection
  • Learning and applying codes and standards for project design
  • Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Adapting to new software systems and using available resources
  • Conducting walkdowns and navigating client sites, including climbing stairs and ladders

About You

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Graduating May-June 2026 preferred, available to start between May and August 2026
  • Solid foundation in core concepts of your major
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and work outside
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings
  • Completion of pre-interview assessments and submission of college transcript if under 1 year post-graduation
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, experience, location, and skills
