Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to design, analysis, and inspection of transmission lines, substations, and greenfield distribution projects
- Applying industry codes and standards in project design
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams supporting utilities, independent power producers, and industrial clients
- Gaining hands-on experience with industry tools and software systems
- Collecting field data alongside senior engineers
- Managing multiple tasks and meeting project deadlines
- Adapting to new software and learning continuously through feedback and mentorship
About You
The company is looking for candidates who have:
- Graduated or graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET-accredited school in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines
- Availability to start between May 2026 and August 2026, preferably May-June 2026 graduates
- Strong intellectual curiosity about modern energy systems
- Preferred coursework in Power Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems Analysis & Control, Electric Power Quality
- Solid foundation in core engineering concepts of their major
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors
- Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000 annually, based on role, level, experience, and location
