Multimedia Intern - Rochester, NY (Jun 2026)

Are you a collaborative Multimedia Creator passionate about technology, eager to develop innovative e-learning and customer support content for tactical radio products.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with team members, internal customers, and subject matter experts to create engaging end-user support content
• Transform complex technical concepts into engaging video, graphic, and interactive content
• Consult with Subject Matter Experts, Writers, and Designers to develop customer support materials
• Develop new and inventive ways of applying visual design, animation, and graphic design into new media applications to promote customer support and engagement

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in digital design, animation and motion design, film and video production, or a related field
• Experience with all aspects of video production including multi-camera video capture, lighting, sound, and editing
• Proven competency in layout design for web, mobile, and print platforms
• Coursework in Storyboarding, Creative Writing, UX/UI Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of or experience with Animate, Blender, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, or other graphics programs
• Interest in creating technical training and customer support content
• Experience creating engaging content within company brand guidelines
• Experience creating content for social media
• Military Communications and/or HAM Radio experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Experience developing video content based on established storyboards
• An online portfolio demonstrating a variety of high-quality, original content is required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range in New York state: $18.00 - $36.00 per hour (final offer may vary based on experience and location)
