Join GE Appliances as a Mechanical Engineering Technology Co-op for the Summer to gain hands-on experience in dimensional controls, modeling, and simulation.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and offer learning opportunities
- Complete innovative, technical assignments in Dimensional Controls & Metrology, Modeling and Simulation
- Hands-on learning in 3D Scanning, Polyworks analysis, introduction to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and model-based definition
- Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional skills
- Participate in networking and community volunteer projects
- Engage in optional events including lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Related coursework
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- 3D centric thinker with a maker mentality
- Desire and ability to learn
- Passion for engineering
