Mechanical Engineering Intern at Honeywell to assist in design, research, testing, and collaboration on innovative mechanical projects.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
- Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and optimize designs
- Participate in testing and validation activities
- Gain exposure to industry-standard tools and software
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or similar field from an accredited college or university
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Continued enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
- Validated academic excellence with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Authorization to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
- Preferred: Previous internship or project experience in mechanical engineering
- Preferred: Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Preferred: Familiarity with product testing and validation processes
- Preferred: Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly base pay range: $20.00/hr - $42.00/hr (salary varies based on scope, experience, education, skills, and market factors)
- Relocation benefits and short-term housing provided if assigned work location is 50 miles or more from candidate’s residence (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada)
