Mechanical Engineer – New Graduate role at ENERCON involves designing and evaluating systems for critical facilities, including nuclear, with hands-on project experience and collaboration.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Learn and apply codes and standards for project design
  • Collaborate with senior engineers for field data collection
  • Adapt to new software systems and connect classroom knowledge with practical work
  • Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
  • Engage positively with learning and feedback processes
  • Contribute to cross-disciplinary solutions and take ownership of assigned work

About You

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Graduation date between May and June 2026 preferred; availability to start May–August 2026
  • Preferred coursework: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, Statics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors
  • Willingness to travel for client and company projects or meetings
  • U.S. citizenship required for roles involving federal contracts

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, experience, and location
