Mechanical Engineer – New Graduate role at ENERCON involves designing and evaluating systems for critical facilities, including nuclear, with hands-on project experience and collaboration.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Learn and apply codes and standards for project design
- Collaborate with senior engineers for field data collection
- Adapt to new software systems and connect classroom knowledge with practical work
- Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
- Engage positively with learning and feedback processes
- Contribute to cross-disciplinary solutions and take ownership of assigned work
About You
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
- Graduation date between May and June 2026 preferred; availability to start May–August 2026
- Preferred coursework: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, Statics
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors
- Willingness to travel for client and company projects or meetings
- U.S. citizenship required for roles involving federal contracts
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, experience, and location
