Mechanical Engineering Intern to support project teams in power plant and industrial facility system design and upgrades at Sargent & Lundy.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist engineering team members in project execution related to design and modifications of power plant or industrial facility systems and components.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications under senior engineers' direction.
- Support project reporting tasks including tracking and evaluating project activities, progress, and associated data.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with preferred graduation by Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Strong academic background and coursework in mechanical systems analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills.
- Prior related internship or co-op experience is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of practical application of mechanical engineering principles is valued.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $17.50 - $27.00.
