Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Create engineering designs for HVAC systems master planning & studies, HVAC & plumbing systems, mechanical systems (co-generation), sustainability, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green buildings.
- Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
- Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
- Update design requirements as necessary.
- Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge management by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
- Submit technical papers and designs for publication in technical journals.
- May create or collaborate on posters or presentation materials for conferences.
About You
The company is looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline (0 years experience acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $69,243 to $114,234.
- Discretionary bonuses may apply.
