Mechanical (Design) Engineering Associate (Start ASAP)

Mechanical engineers at L3Harris in Waco, TX design and develop aircraft systems using 3D CAD, supporting military and commercial aviation projects.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Design and liaison of aircraft primary and secondary structures using military and commercial design standards, customer specifications, and system requirements with 3D CAD.
• Provide liaison to production and manufacturing for interpretation of engineering designs and drawings.
• Prepare and release engineering drawings within schedule and budget constraints.
• Document and review designs with peers, management, and customers.
• Engage in all phases of product design including concept development, detail design, manufacturing, installation, and customer follow-up.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Applicants pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering within the last 12 months.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
