Join ENERCON as a Mechanical Analysis Engineer Intern in Kennesaw, GA, contributing to innovative energy projects with a focus on mechanical engineering principles.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Learning and applying codes and standards for project design
- Collaborating with senior engineers for field data collection
- Adapting to new software systems and connecting classroom knowledge with practical work
- Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently
- Maintaining a positive attitude towards learning and feedback
- Conducting walkdowns and navigating client sites, including climbing stairs and ladders
- Traveling for client and company projects and/or meetings as required
About You
The company is looking for:
- Graduates or soon-to-be graduates (Dec 2026–May 2027) with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
- Availability to start in May or June 2026
- Preferred coursework in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer
- Strong foundation in core mechanical engineering concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and work outdoors
- Willingness to travel for projects and meetings
- Completion of pre-interview assessments and submission of college transcript if under one year post-graduation
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks
- Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
