Join ENERCON as a Mechanical Analysis Engineer Intern in Kennesaw, GA, contributing to innovative energy projects with a focus on mechanical engineering principles.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and applying codes and standards for project design
  • Collaborating with senior engineers for field data collection
  • Adapting to new software systems and connecting classroom knowledge with practical work
  • Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently
  • Maintaining a positive attitude towards learning and feedback
  • Conducting walkdowns and navigating client sites, including climbing stairs and ladders
  • Traveling for client and company projects and/or meetings as required

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Graduates or soon-to-be graduates (Dec 2026–May 2027) with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Availability to start in May or June 2026
  • Preferred coursework in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat Transfer
  • Strong foundation in core mechanical engineering concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders and work outdoors
  • Willingness to travel for projects and meetings
  • Completion of pre-interview assessments and submission of college transcript if under one year post-graduation
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
