Join Honeywell as a Materials Engineer to develop advanced materials, collaborate across teams, and drive innovation in cutting-edge projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and testing advanced materials to meet product requirements
  • Collaborating with R&D, product development, and manufacturing teams for material integration
  • Conducting research and analysis to identify novel materials, processing techniques, and technologies
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external material suppliers, research institutions, and industry experts
  • Implementing and managing materials testing and characterization to ensure performance and quality standards
  • Staying current with emerging trends, technologies, and materials and recommending their incorporation into product development

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated (Aug 2025 - May 2026) with a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Engineering or a similar field
  • Available to begin full-time work between September 2025 and July 2026
  • Degree obtained within 12 months of the date of hire
  • U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and materials analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of material properties, characterization, analysis, testing selection, and engineering applications

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $68,000 to $126,500
