Join Honeywell as a Materials Engineering/Materials Science Intern to gain hands-on experience in materials development and testing within a global innovation leader.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of advanced materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate materials into products
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new materials and technologies
  • Support materials testing and characterization activities
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and recommend their incorporation into product development

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Material Science, Material Engineering, or a similar field
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or later
  • Continued enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
  • Validated academic excellence with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
  • Familiarity with materials characterization techniques
  • Knowledge of material properties and selection
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and rapidly change focus among multiple projects and tasks

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $20.00/hr - $42.00/hr, based on experience, education, skills, and business considerations
  • Relocation benefits and short-term housing provided if assigned work location is 50 miles or more away (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada)

Interns receive hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, professional development, and mentorship within a global organization.
