Manufacturing Project Engineer Intern (May 2026)

Support Cytiva’s facility expansion and equipment qualification efforts through engineering collaboration and process validation.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Participate in Summer Internship 2026 (May - Aug)
• Draft and perform equipment qualification studies (e.g., system volume, mixer RPM setpoints, cleaning development)
• Gather samples, record and compile data for qualification studies
• Write engineering reports and test protocols
• Organize and file documentation such as design files, manufacturing drawings, P&ID, manuals, spare parts lists, PM schedules, and test protocols
• Support engineering priorities related to facility expansion efforts
• Evaluate safety, quality, production, and cost/efficiency of equipment
• Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and company policies/procedures
• Design, develop, create, install, and assist in production processes and equipment qualification
• Create and execute process equipment qualification protocols (IQ/OQ)
• Collaborate with engineering teams, third-party services, suppliers, and external partners to meet design requirements

About You

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering/technical field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
• Ability to apply scientific and engineering skills to evaluate and develop processes
• Willingness to offer practical solutions to technical challenges
• Mechanical proficiency and hands-on experience with machine design is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate of $25.00
