Manufacturing Intern (May 2025)

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitate the review of stock room inventory management system for accuracy.
• Standardize naming conventions for parts related to equipment.
• Create sustainable systems for inventory cycle counts and parts request management.
• Facilitate a red tag event and update stock room layout.
• Implement 5S method within Packaging procedures.
• Standardize tool usage and process input flow.

About You:

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Additional qualifications include:
• Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Completed at least freshman year by internship start.
• Previous internship/co-op experience with 3M or another manufacturing company.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.
• Experience with cross-functional teams, statistical software, and ERP systems.
