Join 3M as a Manufacturing Intern in Indianapolis, IN, and collaborate globally to enhance production processes.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Improve output attainment on Hearing equipment by 25% during assigned shifts.
  • Create sustainable corrective maintenance processes for Hearing equipment.
  • Develop corrective maintenance procedures for updated processes.
  • Train maintenance staff on corrective maintenance procedures.

About You:

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Additional qualifications include:
  • Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Completed at least freshman year by the start of the internship.
  • Previous internship/co-op experience with 3M or another manufacturing company.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Internet Explorer.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of statistical software programs.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
