Support manufacturing engineers in production solutions and documentation at AAON Longview.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in manufacturing engineering tasks like fixture design, cost reduction, and quality control.
- Conducting process capability studies for various manufacturing processes.
- Contributing to projects related to 6S, equipment, and production line flow.
- Updating and enhancing plant layout drawings.
- Performing other assigned duties under the mentorship of the manufacturing engineer.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Enrollment in an accredited engineering program.
- A minimum of 4 semesters in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Experience with CAD software, AutoCAD, or Solid Edge is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in written and spoken form.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Good decision-making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $25.00 per hour.
- No travel required.
