Manufacturing Engineering College Intern (Start ASAP)

Support manufacturing engineers in production solutions and documentation at AAON Longview.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in manufacturing engineering tasks like fixture design, cost reduction, and quality control.
• Conducting process capability studies for various manufacturing processes.
• Contributing to projects related to 6S, equipment, and production line flow.
• Updating and enhancing plant layout drawings.
• Performing other assigned duties under the mentorship of the manufacturing engineer.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Enrollment in an accredited engineering program.
• A minimum of 4 semesters in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience with CAD software, AutoCAD, or Solid Edge is a plus.
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken form.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Good decision-making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $25.00 per hour.
• No travel required.
• Day shift work schedule.
