Join Volvo Group Trucks Technology as a Maintainability Engineering Intern to develop aftermarket technology solutions and support product maintainability in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Develop and improve competencies related to translating customer needs into aftermarket technology solutions
  • Support engineers in monitoring maintenance costs of products
  • Influence product concepts during development from a maintainability perspective
  • Conduct Virtual Reality reviews using IC.IDO
  • Perform CAD review pre-work with an understanding of Volvo trucks in CAD
  • Create new tools to compare maintenance cost data

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Enrolled student pursuing a degree in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering at an accredited school
  • Completed at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies
  • Knowledge of front-end web development practices and databases
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Preferred experience with Azure Databricks, Angular front-end web development framework, and vehicle maintenance or repair
  • Prepared to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment gaining experience in various engineering aspects

  • Hourly wage range: $17.00 - $46.00, determined by factors including location, academic classification, and degree area
