Join Texas Instruments as an Equipment Engineer to manage manufacturing equipment selection, maintenance, and support in a dynamic team environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate, select, and order cost-effective equipment for manufacturing company products
  • Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
  • Study equipment performance and reliability
  • Establish programs and solutions to increase uptime and resolve equipment issues affecting manufacturing
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams
  • Define and write preventative maintenance schedules

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related engineering field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Preferred knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipment
  • Familiarity with PVD, CVD, high vacuum, and/or ultra high vacuum processes
  • Experience with equipment from AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM
  • Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
  • Initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment
  • Proven ability to build strong, influential relationships
