Join Texas Instruments as an Equipment Engineer to manage manufacturing equipment selection, maintenance, and support in a dynamic team environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, select, and order cost-effective equipment for manufacturing company products
- Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
- Study equipment performance and reliability
- Establish programs and solutions to increase uptime and resolve equipment issues affecting manufacturing
- Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related engineering field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Preferred knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipment
- Familiarity with PVD, CVD, high vacuum, and/or ultra high vacuum processes
- Experience with equipment from AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM
- Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
- Initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment
- Proven ability to build strong, influential relationships
