Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineering & Analytics Internship (Jan 2026)

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with ML team and data scientists to create scalable API services based on ML and statistical models
• Influence API design and implementation for model inference services ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Improve in-house batch processing framework and workflow orchestration
• Work cross-functionally to deploy models on existing infrastructure for real-time business use cases
• Learn and apply best practices in ML modeling, handling, and usage in an enterprise environment

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, graduating in 2026
• Able to work full-time on-site in Fremont, CA
• Academic training in Software Engineering focused on building and scaling batch and real-time infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Python, Airflow, and SQL with data wrangling skills
• Experience with production-level model deployments and serving ML models via Dockerized APIs
• Familiarity with Transformer/VLM/LLM, CNNs, residual networks, GAN, clustering, sequence models, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Jax
• Excellent experience deploying ML models in production, especially in NLP, video, or media-focused applications
