Dewberry seeks a Landscape Architecture Intern for the summer to assist with landscape design projects and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist in completion of landscape design projects.
  • Complete tasks and follow instructions provided by supervisor.
  • Assist in drafting in collaboration with the team.
  • Assist in preparing landscape architecture project plan sets.
  • Make corrections to plans based on redlines provided.
  • Participate and contribute to design discussions, idea generation, collaboration, and design work.
  • Design and detailing in AutoCAD.
  • Attend project and client meetings with design professionals.
  • Interact with and represent the company with clients and contractors.
  • Assist with grant writing and resiliency projects.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Working towards a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, ArcGIS, Lumion, Rhino, and associated design software.
  • Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and meticulous with details.
