Learn and develop as a Lab Operations Engineer intern at AAON Tulsa, focusing on productivity enhancements under senior supervision.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning software to design upgrades and test stands under senior engineer guidance.
  • Developing features, HMI (LabVIEW), and test report templates for psychrometric chambers.
  • Verifying, maintaining, and identifying improvements for NAIC and chambers.
  • Applying laws, regulations, and policies on projects, testing, and safety.
  • Collaborating with Technicians to troubleshoot, apply fixes, and install upgrades.
  • Communicating with Engineering departments to gather project information.
  • Reviewing electrical diagrams, piping schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintaining vendor relations for installs, parts, and equipment service.

About You:

The ideal candidate:

  • Is a current student or recent graduate of an ABET accredited engineering program.
  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Exhibits good decision-making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a team and fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Is proficient with LabView program.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $17.28 - $25.91 hourly.
