Join CACI as a Junior Multimedia Specialist Intern supporting DHS OCIO with multimedia design and video production in a hybrid role.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in designing, creating, and enhancing graphical art and instructional videos for DHS OCIO.
- Support development of communication deliverables such as training materials focusing on design layout, color, formatting, and aesthetic quality.
- Convert draft content into finished Section 508-compliant products.
- Provide presentation support by improving readability, flow, and clarity of content.
- Support instructional video production by developing scripts, combining recordings, audio, transitions, visuals, and animations adhering to DHS guidelines.
- Create visuals, graphics, and animations using appropriate tools.
- Edit video recordings and assist with video recording test-runs.
- Work onsite three days a week at CACI’s DSS PMO in National Harbor, MD in a hybrid work environment.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance and DHS Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD required.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skills with ability to organize data into clear content.
- Creative skills to conceptualize and develop multimedia solutions.
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze information from multiple sources for documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills with Subject Matter Experts and Federal government representatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Adobe applications for graphic design and multimedia production.
- Adaptability to changing priorities, technologies, and requirements in a dynamic environment.
Desired qualifications include familiarity with Canva, TechSmith Camtasia, technical coding (HTML, rich-text), SharePoint, Power BI, and UX/UI design.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $39,900 - $79,900 (national average, varies by location and experience).
