Join CACI as a Junior ISSO Intern supporting federal AI initiatives with IT security assessments and FISMA compliance.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist the team in providing IT security assessment and audit functions to ensure FISMA compliance
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support Certification & Accreditation (C&A) as required by FISMA
  • Ensure all C&A and system security documentation is kept up to date
  • Ensure systems meet all security requirements mandated by DHS 4300A and DHS Management Directives
  • Support system owners and security managers with information assurance and operational security postures

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Clear and professional communication skills with senior Federal government representatives
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Desired: Pursuing a degree in Cyber Security
  • Desired: Understanding of information security best practices
  • Desired: Strong organization and communication skills
  • Desired: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Desired: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Desired: Experience conducting research to understand requirements

Compensation & Benefits
