Marcus & Millichap seeks a Junior Financial Analyst to support the Retail and Net-Leased Team in Denver, focusing on underwriting and financial analysis in real estate.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Underwrite single tenant and multi-tenant retail properties at a high level
  • Pull sales comparables and use Argus software
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator
  • Analyze financials, P&L, and real estate documents
  • Price properties based on sales comparables
  • Manage and oversee team research projects
  • Use Placer.AI to analyze property visitor statistics
  • Draft detailed write-ups on retailers, investment highlights, and location overviews
  • Work with lead agents to determine financial needs
  • Attend meetings with brokers and clients to explain underwriting
  • Communicate with Director of Operations and Marketing Coordinator to create marketing materials and assist in escrow/closing process
  • Provide general team support based on client needs

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Understanding of financials, P&L, and real estate documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Versatile and flexible with willingness to take on new responsibilities
  • Real estate experience preferred

  • Hourly wage: $28.85 - $31.25 (dependent on experience and education)
