IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering Internship (May 2026)

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support IT Infrastructure & Cloud projects aligned with your skills and resume
• Leverage your degree to make an immediate impact on Qualcomm’s technologies
• Collaborate with teams across multiple locations including Austin, Boulder, Boxborough, Bridgewater, Chandler, Irvine, New York City, Louisville, Raleigh, San Diego, Santa Clara, and Seattle

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2026 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2026 or later
• Preferred: Anticipated graduation between November 2026 and June 2027
• Practical experience with software development or operational coding/scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, Java)
• Experience with automation tools, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), source control, software integration, scripting, and DevOps environments (e.g., Ansible)
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, infrastructure automation, end-user services, collaboration, and communication tools
• Familiarity with servers (physical, virtual), cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP), and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Python web development experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $17.00 - $98.00
