Amazon Studios seeks a summer intern for the IP & Literary team to support sourcing and analyzing intellectual property for film and TV adaptation.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Help with the creation of the IP memo, tracking new material in the external marketplace.
- Distribute a weekly memo reporting on major publishing deals, material optioned, and new industry trends in publishing and audio.
- Read material and perform coverage, including synopsis and analysis.
- Dive deep into the publishing industry and ancillary IP marketplaces.
- Collaborate with domestic film and television departments and local language territories worldwide.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Commitment to work 40 hours per week for a 12-week internship maximum.
- Current enrollment in an MBA or equivalent Master’s program with anticipated graduation between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and AirTable.
- Experience or coursework analyzing large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong communication skills with ability to succinctly summarize and analyze books, films, games, and other IP.
- Knowledge of the television and film industry, including key outlets, platforms, and creators.
- Passion for literature, gaming, anime, and/or graphic novels is ideal.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $58,968/year to $82,700/year depending on geographic market.
- Compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms as part of a total package.
