Join ENERCON as a new graduate I&C Engineer to work on innovative digital energy projects and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Prepare engineering change packages and perform design studies
  • Review OEM documentation to ensure compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers, project managers, and clients
  • Collect field data and participate in system walkdowns at plant sites
  • Apply codes and standards in project design
  • Adapt to new software systems and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Contribute to technical excellence and project success

About You

The company is looking for candidates who have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
  • Graduation date between May and June 2026 preferred, available to start May–August 2026
  • Preferred coursework in Circuit Analysis, Power Systems, and Control Systems
  • Exposure to digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing
  • Understanding of regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, conduct walkdowns, and work outdoors
  • Willingness to travel for client and company projects or meetings
  • U.S. citizenship required for some federal contract roles
  • Must pass pre-employment assessments, drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and motor vehicle record checks
  • No sponsorship available now or in the future

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, experience, and location
