Information Technology Intern supporting IT infrastructure and cybersecurity functions at Texas Instruments.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting IT Solutions organization to provide infrastructure for business growth, agility, innovation, and customer experience
- Gaining exposure to various IT roles through meaningful assignments
- Participating in Cybersecurity Analysis: analyzing cybersecurity events, vulnerability analysis, network traffic analysis, risk analysis, incident response, threat modeling, cyber threat intelligence, penetration testing, forensics, security operations, cloud and data security, malware reverse engineering, security countermeasures, open-source intelligence, and technical writing
- Participating in Cybersecurity Engineering: protecting organizational assets including infrastructure, networks, hardware, applications, and data from cyberattacks; working on enterprise security, security controls, testing, strategies, application security, security requirements analysis, cloud security, data security, network security, secure coding, detection engineering, identity and access management, and security countermeasures
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Basic understanding of web development and programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, R, SQL, and scripting
- Basic understanding of networks, operating systems (Windows, Unix), and databases
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
- Initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time project delivery
