Information Security Systems Engineering Associate (Start ASAP)

L3Harris seeks an Associate in Information Security Systems Engineering to support cybersecurity efforts, focusing on DoD RMF processes in Waco, TX.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting Cybersecurity Requirements by collaborating with ISSEs to identify protection needs and document security controls/requirements.
• Assisting system engineers in cybersecurity-focused system design.
• Creating and reviewing System Security Plans (SSPs), System/Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Network and Dataflow Drawings.
• Verifying security control implementation through development and execution of Cybersecurity Test Plans/Procedures and use of System Scanning Tools.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Applicants pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or those who have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.
• Proactive and detail-oriented individuals with a passion for cybersecurity.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance, which may be necessary for this position.
