Information Security Intern - Operations (Start ASAP)

Contribute to Mastercard’s global security efforts by assisting with vulnerability scanning, threat analysis, and remediation in a dynamic corporate security environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with vulnerability scanning and analyzing threat data
• Supporting remediation workflows in collaboration with engineering and operations teams
• Monitoring systems for emerging vulnerabilities and documenting findings
• Contributing to process improvements to enhance Mastercard’s security posture
• Gaining exposure to penetration testing, secure SDLC, and network assessments

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Cyber Security or a related field with graduation date December 2026 or beyond
• Earned or pursuing a certification in a cybersecurity discipline or tool
• Experience or education with penetration testing and vulnerability management
• Preferred past participation in Capture the Flag events
• Preferred experience working with Splunk
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to tackle complex problems
