Join Mastercard as an Information Security Engineering Intern to support cybersecurity initiatives and gain hands-on experience in a global, innovative company.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Mastercard’s mission to safeguard systems and data through cybersecurity initiatives
  • Assisting with implementation of security monitoring procedures
  • Contributing to development of technical documentation and project deliverables
  • Gaining exposure to regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI and GDPR
  • Working with authentication protocols and vulnerability management practices
  • Collaborating with engineering and business teams
  • Engaging in automation efforts, threat modeling, and use of tools like Splunk and CyberArk

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Cyber Security or related field with graduation date December 2026 or beyond
  • Earned or pursuing certification in a cybersecurity discipline or tool
  • Experience or education in digital forensics
  • Preferred participation in Capture the Flag events
  • Preferred experience working with Splunk
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to tackle complex problems
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Training & Development
