Internship opportunity in Industrial Design at Tesla’s Design Studio, focusing on energy and product design with hands-on prototyping and CAD modeling.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing creative and relevant conceptual thinking for various projects
  • Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create visual presentations and design assets
  • Communicating designs through hand-sketching, rendering, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Creating detailed 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, Alias, or Rhino to support design development
  • Engaging in hands-on foam sculpting and physical prototyping
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with 3D digital modeling, engineering, retail development, and marketing teams
  • Assisting with graphic design tasks, focusing on layout and visuals

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design or a related field
  • Humble, professional, and positive can-do attitude
  • Previous internship and/or project experience is a plus

How to Apply

Applicants should be actively enrolled in an academic program and able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) on-site starting May 2026 through summer term.
