Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSE strategies and programs.
  • Support the team in conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to promote safety awareness among employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and organize a centralized SharePoint location for the site’s policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Develop a QR Code-initiated inspection process, organize data collection, and connect user-friendly Power BI outputs.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering, environmental science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or later, and continued enrollment upon internship completion.
  • Validated academic excellence with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum or refugee status due to U.S. export control laws.
  • Prior internship or project experience in HSE is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development in the HSE field.
  • Experience or coursework in health, safety, and environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Experience, familiarity, and/or interest in SharePoint development and Power BI development.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and safety auditing processes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Intern pay range: $20.00/hr - $42.00/hr.
  • Relocation benefits and short-term housing are provided if living 50 miles or more from the assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
