Join GE Appliances as an HR Intern supporting daily HR operations and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic team environment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Provide administrative support for probationary employee attendance
- Research and investigate attendance disputes, updating employee time and attendance records
- Generate discussion forms and warning notices
- Conduct employee discussions and create documents for legal review
- Support projects related to driving improved retention and increased plant engagement
- Assist in managing both electronic and hard copy HR documents, files, and records
- Provide support in other HR special projects, tasks, needs, and initiatives
About You
The company is looking for:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Actively enrolled and in good academic standing at an accredited school or university
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Available to work up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Local to Louisville, KY or surrounding area with reliable transportation
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time, on-site internship for approximately 6 months
