Support engineers on roadway projects and develop practical skills in a collaborative learning environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist in all facets of highway engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, traffic signal systems, utility relocations, and development of maintenance and protection of traffic schemes
  • Prepare right-of-way and contract plans for a variety of project types and clients
  • Collaborate with a team of outstanding professionals to apply the latest technology to solve client challenges

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience using AutoCAD or Microstation is a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Local candidates preferred; no housing stipend provided
  • Dewberry does not sponsor new applicants for work authorization at this time
