Join Honeywell as a Materials Engineering Intern supporting Production, Design, and Quality teams with technical projects and problem-solving.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Support Production, Design, and Quality groups with multitasking across concurrent assignments
  • Provide Materials Engineering support under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Assist with materials and process selection
  • Complete customer deliverables and technical problem-solving
  • Conduct failure analysis and draft specifications
  • Develop processes and execute technical projects

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Metallurgy from an accredited college or university
  • Graduation date December 2026 or later
  • Must continue enrollment in the degree program after internship completion
  • Validated academic excellence with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to contractual requirements
  • Experience or knowledge in electronics assemblies, mechanical assembly and joining, chemical processes, castings, or composites
  • Experience reviewing/interpreting drawings, material and process specifications, and technical data sheets
  • Experience supporting production activities in a factory setting
  • Ability to convey technical ideas independently through discussions, presentations, and writing
  • Ability to create action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet internal and external customer expectations
  • Strong focus on task completion, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and multi-task work assignments
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits

  • Relocation benefits and short-term housing are provided if the assigned work location is 50 miles or more away (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada)
