Amazon seeks Hardware Development Engineer Interns to support product design, debug, and validation in a collaborative environment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Perform schematic design.
- Validate hardware and debug issues.
- Develop automated test tools (LabVIEW, HPVEE).
- Travel to support engineering builds.
- Work alongside Senior Electrical Engineers on projects from concept through production.
- Engage with cross-disciplinary teams and external partners to drive product definition, execution, and testing.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Can work 40 hours per week and commit to a maximum 12-week internship.
- Are enrolled in an academic program physically located in the United States.
- Have knowledge of analog and digital skills.
- Have knowledge of schematic design and debug skills.
- Have experience with embedded systems.
- Are currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent discipline, with an expected graduation date between October 2026 and December 2029.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $41.78/hr to $88.94/hr depending on geographic market.
