Hardware Development Engineer Internship (Feb 2026)

Amazon seeks Hardware Development Engineer Interns to support product design, debug, and validation in a collaborative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Perform schematic design.
• Validate hardware and debug issues.
• Develop automated test tools (LabVIEW, HPVEE).
• Travel to support engineering builds.
• Work alongside Senior Electrical Engineers on projects from concept through production.
• Engage with cross-disciplinary teams and external partners to drive product definition, execution, and testing.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Are 18 years of age or older.
• Can work 40 hours per week and commit to a maximum 12-week internship.
• Are enrolled in an academic program physically located in the United States.
• Have knowledge of analog and digital skills.
• Have knowledge of schematic design and debug skills.
• Have experience with embedded systems.
• Are currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent discipline, with an expected graduation date between October 2026 and December 2029.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay ranges from $41.78/hr to $88.94/hr depending on geographic market.
• Compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of total compensation.
