Join CohnReznick as a 2026 Government Contract Audit Associate in Tysons, VA, supporting federal and commercial clients with audit and advisory services.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services
  • Working on various client deliverables and preparing work papers
  • Resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making client inquiries
  • Understanding clients’ accounting systems
  • Applying concepts of materiality and audit risk
  • Preparing well-documented, cross-referenced work papers that are clear and explainable
  • Collaborating with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting
  • Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2025 and July 2026 to qualify for CPA licensure
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both major and overall
  • Leadership experience in extracurricular activities preferred
  • Prior work or internship experience, preferably in accounting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based culture
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
