Join Bank of America's Global Research team as a Research Analyst Intern, contributing to financial modeling, primary research, and report writing within a sector-focused team.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assemble historical financial models using SEC filings, company conference calls, and press releases
- Conduct financial, statistical, and industry analysis to support the team’s investment thesis
- Learn fundamentals of the industry and companies covered by the team, and research sector trends impacting recommendations
- Write short notes and detailed reports (Primers) on economies, markets, and industries; contribute to daily, weekly, or monthly reports
- Participate in group projects and presentations with other summer interns
- Work within a specific industry sector team for the duration of the internship
About You
The company is looking for:
- Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s direct to Master’s degree from an accredited institution, graduating between November 2027 and August 2028
- Minimum 3.5 GPA preferred
- Strong academic aptitude, creative thinking, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accounting and quantitative skills are a plus
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail and quality control
- Client service-oriented with a drive to exceed expectations
- Strong team and partnering skills
- Passion and interest in the US capital markets and the ability to use a wide range of market data sources
- Ability to create and maintain financial models
- Curiosity and passion for research
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
- Outgoing with a strong personal presence
- Good judgment and business sense
