Lennar seeks a Homebuilding Recent College Graduate for a 6-month training program in Plymouth, MN, focusing on land financial analysis and development.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead financial analysis for quarterly and annual Division Business Plans, summarizing actual and projected financial performance.
- Prepare gross revenues, profit margins, cash flow forecasts, break-even analysis, return-on-assets, and internal rate of return.
- Assist in financial feasibility analysis for acquisition opportunities and prepare underwriting proformas.
- Perform asset sales pricing analysis and recommend price/profit participation structures.
- Maintain computerized financial proforma models for community planning.
- Collaborate with management to evaluate alternative business planning scenarios.
- Serve as liaison with Corporate Finance to ensure adherence to financial strategies and procedures.
- Maintain market analysis database and conduct competitive market research.
- Assist in Greenfolder process preparation including vestacalcs, charts, and reports.
- Formulate budgets, administer vendor contracts, change orders, and invoices.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Current senior graduating from a 4-year college or university by June (preferred).
- Willingness to relocate with support at the end of the program (preferred).
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, architecture, or similar (preferred).
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (no sponsorship available).
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance.
- Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use; local real estate knowledge beneficial.
- Knowledge of zoning, entitlements, and ability to read civil engineering/development plans.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of mapping applications.
- Ability to work with various technologies and develop new digital workflow skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $63,000 - $68,500, subject to adjustment based on qualifications and location.

The 6-month Future Builders Program is temporary and does not guarantee future employment; however, high-performing participants may be offered full-time roles in Construction, Purchasing, or Land based on performance and business needs.
