Lennar’s Future Builders Program offers a 6-month training opportunity in homebuilding construction with potential full-time placement.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules
  • Inspect and enforce job safety requirements
  • Complete punch lists and assist in new home orientation lists
  • Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled
  • Ensure job site cleanliness and assist with model/inventory maintenance
  • Assist in service-related issues
  • Engage daily with division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners
  • Provide trade partner feedback to Construction Manager regarding timeliness and attention to detail

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Current senior graduating from a 4-year college or university by June (preferred)
  • Willingness to relocate with support at the end of the program as needed (preferred)
  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, architecture, or similar (preferred)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship available)
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage
  • Knowledge of construction management processes, building products, construction details, and relevant rules and standards
  • Ability to read, understand, and evaluate civil engineering/development plans
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages
  • Ability to work with various technologies and develop skills for new tools, platforms, and digital workflows
  • Open to personal or professional development through learning opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $63,000 - $68,500, subject to adjustment
