Lennar seeks a Product Development Intern to assist with architectural drafting, CAD modeling, and collaboration on homebuilding projects during a 10-week paid internship.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Perform drafting duties for Architectural Construction Documents and Lot Specific print sets
- Maintain and adhere to established CAD standards and practices
- Convert 2D AutoCAD plans into 3D Revit BIM models
- Assist in developing 3D BIM library components
- Create plan options using LotSpec option-solving software
- Support the Starts department with architectural documents for permits
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to provide CAD files for exterior renderings and 3D walk-throughs
About You
The company is looking for:
- Current junior working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating within 2 years (preferred)
- Degree focus in construction, civil engineering, architecture, business, or similar field
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
