Franchise Sales and Systems Intern (Jun 2026)

7-Eleven offers a summer internship focused on franchising, providing hands-on experience and exposure to senior leadership in a global convenience retail leader.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Shadow all functions within the Franchising Department, including marketing, recruiting, franchising process, and administrative support for stores.
• Actively participate in the Zone Development team by assisting with sourcing traditional Franchisees and qualifying and approving candidates for all Franchises.
• Collaborate with Field Operations and Training to support candidates entering the Franchise system.
• Request and review various documents and information to determine applicant suitability.
• Schedule Franchisee training and monitor progress throughout the training period.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, stay organized, and focus on details.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
• Curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn.
• Solid understanding of business etiquette.
• Optimistic, positive, and ready-for-anything attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Training & Development

• Work closely with a coach who provides regular meetings, direction, and ongoing feedback.
• Attend a lunch series offering a cross-functional view of the organization and exposure to senior leadership.
• Experience touring a store and learning about distribution systems.
• Complete an 11-week internship culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders.
