Internship opportunity in FP&A & Business Operations at Tesla, offering hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks during Summer 2026, starting May/June through August.
- Be assigned to one of several subgroups including Financial Planning & Analysis, Engineering Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Energy Products Finance, or Sales, Marketing and Service Finance based on experience and interests.
- Support Tesla’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting processes and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and track initiatives to improve gross margin, cash flow, and long-term planning including new products and capital needs.
- Manage R&D investments, profit improvement, cost targets, and manufacturing investments depending on subgroup placement.
- Lead pricing efforts, profitability analysis, and business planning for various Tesla business units.
- Analyze data, provide recommendations, and assist in cross-functional decision-making and implementation.
About You

- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Exceptional ability to work in ambiguous environments.

- International students must confirm ability to work 40 hours per week under CPT before applying.
