Interactive Brokers seeks motivated individuals for entry-level roles in Institutional Services, focusing on client support and technology-driven solutions.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Resolve routine and complex client service issues promptly and courteously.
  • Handle client inquiries related to IB Trader Workstation, Web Trader, Mobile Trader platforms, and trading modules.
  • Manage cash deposits, withdrawals, position transfers, and account administration.
  • Provide information on product availability, exchange, clearing, depository functions, order types, routing logic, and order status.
  • Address trade settlement, exercise & assignment, expiration processing, and corporate actions.
  • Explain margin calculations, commission structures, interest, and fees.
  • Coordinate with local and international Customer Service teams and departments such as Programming, Clearing, Cashiering, and Compliance.
  • Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
  • Experience in financial services (brokerage, banking, trading, exchange, or clearinghouse) preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for telephone, email, and online chat client interactions.
  • In-depth understanding of stocks, securities options, futures, options on futures, foreign exchange, and fixed income.
  • Working knowledge of exchange operations, regulations, product offerings, execution platforms, rules, and margin methodologies.
  • Multi-language skills are an advantage.
