Be a Financial Development Program Intern at GE Appliances while driving impact through finance projects and strategic initiatives.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive real impact by taking on a summer project addressing existing business challenges and delivering meaningful solutions.
  • Build your network by connecting with senior Finance leaders and collaborating with Finance Development Program members.
  • Gain hands-on experience working within an operational finance team to provide insights and analysis supporting key business decisions.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly close activities to gain an insider’s view of financial operations.
  • Enhance efficiency by developing process documentation to strengthen workflows and knowledge-sharing.
  • Sharpen technical skills through general ledger research and variance analysis to identify trends and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare to interview for the 2027 GE Appliances Finance Development Program, a 3-year rotational program with MBA pursuit and career fast-tracking.

About You

What you'll need:

  • Full-time rising Senior enrolled in a 4-year college or university, graduating December 2026 or May 2027, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Prior internship experience preferred.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks, set objectives, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to influence and align others through clear and concise information sharing.
  • Consistent productivity and ability to deliver results under moderate supervision.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Training & Development

  • Opportunity to gain hands-on finance experience and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Build relationships with leaders and peers supporting professional growth.
  • Potential to join the prestigious 3-year Finance Development Program, including multiple business rotations and MBA pursuit.
